Law enforcement is a
high-stress profession.

Participate in our Carolina Blue Project and help us improve the health of North Carolina law enforcement officers!

The Carolina Blue Project is a study conducted by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. We aim to learn more about work-related stress, eating behaviors, and cardiovascular disease risk factors among North Carolina law enforcement officers.

Police officers in the United States have the highest cardiovascular disease mortality rate of all occupations. There are, however, limited studies on the cardiovascular health of North Carolina law enforcement officers. Therefore, our goal is to identify the factors contributing to poor health trends in North Carolina law enforcement officers and to improve their health and well-being.

Participate in The Carolina Blue Project

Help us improve the health of North Carolina law enforcement officers by participating in The Carolina Blue Project. Help prevent unfortunate incidents such as heart attacks from happening to these hard-working officers.
